Monday Night TV

Heroes was good as usual, but I'm sick of mirror woman. I do find it fascinating though how her "alter ego" has better hair than she does. Japanese dudes were cool. I especially enjoyed Hiro being excited over the fact that he has a sword in the future. I want more of painter guy, flying guy, power-leeching guy and super-hearing cop guy. And less of mirror woman. And SNAP...I can't believe annoying short-haired chick girl is in cahoots with cheer-dad. I never saw that one coming. As much as I enjoy the show...I cannot stand the tagline "save the cheerleader. save the world." I ALMOST hate it enough to stop watching the show...just hurry up and save the damn cheerleader already!
Over on ABC, I was wondering to myself "What About Brian?". Oy...talk about a show that should be lucky it got a 2nd chance on the air. Tonight's episode was particularly depressing in this heart-wrenching, weepy drama about a group of miserable friends. I did shed a tear though for hottie Barry Watson when he cashed out his IRA and every cent to his name just to buy back his product from a company that was going to screw him over...and THEN after all that, a bitter ex-lover of his business partner uploaded all their software onto a freeware site and made their product completely worthless. OUCH! And that was even after he met with his estranged father asking for some help w/o getting it! AND THEN...as if all that wasn't bad enough...his sister's husband was finally returning (not sure from where, but he's been gone all season, and she's like 9 months preggers), but he died! Weeeeeeeeeeee...talk about good times! Damn Brian, cheer the fuck up!
